I bought an ASUS EEE PC for my fiancee a couple of months ago and it's sure a piece of computer art. And to be honest I have never thought about what it would be if it had a touchscreen. Now as I think about it, it sounds like a great idea, but let's not forget that it is supposed to be a budget laptop...
A touchscreen would send EEE PC in the more expensive category. :)

whoa! you could actually do that? i never thought that you could you could mod your monitor like that... i have a cousin who owns an asus eee pc, and i am definitely going tell him about this! what's is really good about this is that we have a huge selection of touch screens for your asus eee pc, with really affordable prices.

I was unaware of the fact that this mini laptop could even have a touchscreen. It's amazing! And for less than $50, wauw.
I definitely want to buy one now if I can find a good way to synchronize it with my laptop.
