I am sure that there is a need for such a program. Internet safety is an important subject under the aspect how much this medium determines our lives and how much time of the day (or sometimes even the nights) we spent with it. Children normally are not very critic, but curious and openminded. They look for friends and interesting contacts in communities like "Schülerverzeichnis" oder "Studivz". Unfortunately, it is not very difficult to log in there with a false identity. Nobody will check out, if the age you pretended to have was correct or not. Another problem, not mentioned in the article, is the fact of mobbing by the means of such websites. Children are very fast learners concerning the great possibilities of the www. Someone has to tell them about its dangers, too!
