I think this probably got so many hits because people thought they were going to a real story or a real portal. I really couldn't care less what other people are "voting" on and got here by accident. I'm still smarting from the Netscape portal disappearing for months after being replaced by this hip, slick, cool and virtually worthless format. Sorry, but that's how I feel.
