I think an important thing to remember though is that internet users are only a fraction of voters. Remember when we all thought Howard Dean was going to sweep the nation because of his internet popularity?
I don't believe the article made the claim that this was a representation of all the country's voters...
But, as any webmaster would tell you, they will measure success to some level, by the amount of traffic their site is getting.
The "web leaders" are obviously getting some attention.
I really wish we had the ability to retract negative votes on comments! Or, I should just learn to be more accurate in my clicking...
