Oct. 25, 2006, 1:29 p.m.I found this article extremely interesting because I believe there is a growing trend to try and increase the vote.
Fundamentally, electronic voting is proposed to 1)Make voting easier, and 2)make it more accountable.
I see flaws in any voting system, which, to my opinion, makes this an issue of easier voting.
Should voting be easier? If you're not going to get off the couch, get informed, and actively participate -- do we want you voting?
I really don't want you to vote if this is the case. However, you still have the right to vote.
So, in my conclusion. I won't make it any harder for you to vote, but I won't make it any easier. In other words....I'm not holding your hand. Go get an absentee ballot.
