Nice, except (at least for me) it seems like the Check Story feature isn't working. It keeps telling me a story on Siemens matches my story ... and a manual search detects a correct match to what I wanted to submit.

Nifty, just wondering - how can copyright holders raise a DMCA concern over a video? Any way to export videos?

      Good deal.

EDIT: Indeed there are Terms of Use & Video Standards on it:

Will it be Okay if I upload vidoes of hot girls dancing in the clubs where I spin ? Or if I want to do a video response to Bill Clntons attack on Chris Wallace and when I post in that thread I can link to it in my post ? Or what about ligitimate news like if I spotted police making a drunk driving arrest and I had my camera at the time ?

Still doesn't seem to work for me (Check Story). I get this story:

Siemens and Sustainable South Bronx & Bradco Supply Commitments almost every time. Plus sometimes I get no stories.

I hate submitting duplicates (and I generally do not).

What the heck, no WMV? I've got a vlog I wanted to add and I can't as I don't have software that coverts. Us poor Windows users are out here making vidcasts with our free Windows Movie Maker. It's not like WMV is rare; not a standard format or something...

I got one to upload, but the audio gets a little off because of the conversion I did to it:

Things we're *hoping* (note: we have to figure out how to make some of these things work first) to add to this feature:

                            1. Video icon will link to a list of all videos submitted to the site.

                            2. WMV support

                            3. iPod-version of the file will have a name based on the story slug rather than some indecipherable string of numbers like 09-26-19-42-10-7050_dl.mp4

                            4. Videos embedded in special video-savvy RSS feeds, so that you can subscribe to videos with a certain tag or in a certain channel.

                            Any other suggestions?

What about video stats for those that upload their videos? Number of times played, downloaded, maybe even uniques vs. impressions, etc.

It would be nice if we could add more tags. Could we just make one long "tag" of the different keywords without seperating them with a comma, for example about 10? Netscape video allows a limit of at most 5 tag names.

I already have my content hosted on a site and from time to time would like to submit content but would prefer a physical URL to have you pull the file instead of having to spend the time uploading the file this will help those of us that are on limited push pipes from home.

The best features would be for me:

I'm thinking Netscape should leave the video to other sites. It needs to diferenciate itself, and there's already plenty of poor video on other social sites: http://www.BEST-VIDEO.US
