The basic concept is ADD VALUE. If you don't add value people will vote you off the island for breaking the "middle man rule."
So, if you do a YouTube post on your blog and don't want it redirect to YouTube add enough value that people don't complain that you're breaking the "middle man rule."
You can do this by listing three related videos, doing an interview with the person who made the video, writing about the video itself, transcribing what was said in the video, giving more context to the video, etc.
This is not just something for Netscape Anchors and Navigators to deal with, it is also something for the community to work on.
