June 26, 2006, 12:50 p.m.Digg 3.0 sucks, it took me 8 times of clicking the sybmit button to get a story on digg. No thanks I will stick with the ease of use of Netscape. Not only that, they do not have an option for autos over at digg. Don't they get it that the entire world pretty much needs a car to get around, and the automotive industry is important to technology. Have you seen Honda's Asimo, or how about the Toyota Prius. Or how about the new technology behind E85, fuel cells, and maybe even the stupidly loud stereos that people put in their cars. Jason Calacanis and the team always have their eye on the ball. I knew there was a reason I quit watching techtv (I mean G4tv).

June 26, 2006, 8:49 p.m.Hey shane how much did netscape pay you? And studio, and yohojones.
Or maybe you guys are from netscape. Hmm. "netscape's good at this, netscapes better at that"
Why don't you see what the stats show you. More people go to digg- so the people prefer digg. Deal with it, you god**** copiers.

June 27, 2006, 4:28 a.m.mightymouse check all my posts from my blog and see ... and see why i like most betscape. Digg has a slightly better visual layout but i like more netscape for the way news are published.

June 27, 2006, 7:42 a.m.Many things about Digg I like. I think the hype about the new 3.0 was overblown and Digg.com could not live up to it. I will continue to use it, but Netscape has a great deal of potential. The jury is still out on this one.

June 27, 2006, 4:14 p.m.As a previously avid Digg user, I find strangely repelled by the new Digg, and attracted to the new Netscape. Mind you I am feeling strangely guilty about this, especially as the I've been a loyal user of Digg since the beginning, but I do find some of the Netscape implementations a lot nicer and more professionally done than some of those from Digg 3.0.
On the top of my list, is the sidebar that Netscape adds to the ‘view site’ link – Absolutely love this, as it solves the tendency to ‘digg’ (or vote) before having read the article. It’s a very nice touch that I hope they will elaborate on to also guard against ‘the Digg effect’ should their service become tremendously popular and threaten to bring down sites left right and center…

June 28, 2006, 6:39 a.m.I have been a fan of Digg from the beginning. But this hype about the new Digg 3.0 reminds me of all the hype about U.S. Soccer. Where's the beef.

July 2, 2006, 10:54 p.m.Digg 3.0 is an improvement (somewhat) but the submit button doesn't work properly nor consistantly. Netscape is much better.

July 16, 2006, 1:39 p.m.psilvestri, the single problem that i have is that i can submit very easy stories to netscape and very hard to digg. and i dont know why.
